Winter Updates 15/01/2026

Major changes to the Roblox chat system are fundamentally problematic to the continued existence of the Ellington Coffee House. We will continue to keep the bards around, and will continue to serve drinks. The dangers presented by the new chat system for younger players will not be ignored either. The following changes have been made to the Ellington:

Ellington Menu:

A menu reflecting the menu of the site has been added. This will better facilitate the ability for players to order items for the baristas to make without the use of chat. There is still no current solution for those who cannot chat at all. 

New December Drinks:

  • Eggnog
  • Peppermint Eggnog

Bard Changes

  • More music options available for bards, including traditional Christmas music. 
  • Bards are now able to inflict potion effects upon people utilizing commands in the chat. This is now effectively redundant as the bards are unable to use the chat.

Fall Updates 28/9/2025 The Ellington has undergone some major updates in the past four days. They are outlined below: New Drinks We have added new drinks as requested by our customers: Orange Juice Orange Creamsicle Apple Juice Cranberry Juice Sweet Cream Milkshake Vanilla Milkshake Chocolate Milkshake Swirled Milkshake Fall Season Changes & Additions Changes and additions to the fall season include: Pumpkin spice milkshake Pumpkins outside Crows that fly around Slightly larger leaves on the ground Bard Changes Some changes for the bards include: 4 chair quartet/consort seating setup Descant, alto, tenor, and bass recorders Chess We have made one slight change to the chessboard: You now have to triple-click the candelabra to reset, to avoid accidental resets. New Regimental Member A new member of the regiment has arrived... Keep an eye out for them!

They are outlined below: New Drinks We have added new drinks as requested by our customers: Atole Atole de naranja Atole de vainilla Potions Over 120 different potions have been implemented! Ask a barista for a potion, if you dare... Bard Changes New Positive Organ Bard now defaults to Harpsichord around Halloween Halloween Decorations The pumpkins from the regular fall update now are carved.
